One of the unique points about this Polynesian-themed property is the brand’s backstory and heritage. The tiki restaurant concept was utilised by Mr Shi Wah Lee in the 1970s to 1990s, where he ran a bar for Trader Vic’s London property for 20 years. His son, Philip Lee opened Wahtiki in Hong Kong years later to pay homage to his father’s reputable accomplishments—the history can be found on the menu, where you’ll also spot “wah” in the restaurant’s turtle logo.
We tried the Valentine’s Day menu, a four-course set of fusion meals to indulge in the best of seafood, meats and dessert with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine or a sharing cocktail.
