Founded in 2013, XYZ is Asia’s first articulation of the indoor cycling phenomenon that has taken the world by storm. Conveniently located right above Central station, XYZ is a must-try with its cutting-edge facilities and invigorating classes that cater to all fitness levels. From high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions to endurance rides and music-based classes, XYZ ensures a well-rounded and challenging experience. Our experience in the SPIN-Strength class taught by Bhumika incorporates weights and packs a ton of energy and excitement into the 50-minute class. The thumping music and pulsating lights make for an electrifying atmosphere, and despite not knowing all the moves, we finished the class dripping in sweat and feeling inspired.

If you’ve lived in Hong Kong for any amount of time, you’d have heard of Pure, a renowned fitness brand and gym in Hong Kong. With multiple locations across the city, it doesn’t get easier to hop on a bike and get your spin on. Pure offers three kinds of cycling classes, so you can choose one that best suits your preference. In the Les Mills-designed RPM class we tried, you control the intensity and resistance, and the teacher leads you through a pre-choreographed routine that gets you pumping in time with the music. Overall, it was challenging, but we loved the upbeat music and enthusiastic teachers that maintained an energetic vibe for the 50-minute class.
