2) Chloe Bennet

Known to fans as Daisy Johnson in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Chloe Bennet was born Chloé Wang to a Chinese father and an American mother. Early in her career, she adopted the surname Bennet to help open doors in Hollywood, a decision that speaks to the industry’s evolving challenges around representation. “Changing my last name doesn’t change the fact that my blood is half-Chinese, that I lived in China, speak Mandarin, or that I was culturally raised both American and Chinese,” she wrote on Instagram.

Today, Chloe is a vocal advocate for Asian-American visibility, proudly celebrating her heritage and encouraging others to do the same. Her journey highlights the importance of authenticity in a world eager for diverse stories.
