Maddie Simpson is a singer. Per her Spotify bio, Simpson's love of music started early, her tastes shaped by a mother who played James Brown, Lionel Richie, and Aretha Franklin. She is a self-described devotee of soul and R&B whose musical influences include Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston.
Her songs "Love Me Loud" and "Woulda Never" were produced by Harvey Mason Jr., who worked with Houston herself, as well as Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
