Galaxy Macau's November Lineup: A Michelin-Studded Feast and a Dreamlike Art Journey

Galaxy Macau is stacking its calendar for the back half of the year, with a headline-grabbing culinary festival timed to Macau Grand Prix weekend and a running art exhibition already transforming Galaxy Promenade into something closer to a gallery than a mall. Here's what's on the radar.

Galaxy Stars of Gastronomy 2026: 24 Michelin Stars, One Weekend

Mark the calendar for November 20 and 21, when Galaxy Stars of Gastronomy returns to Galaxy Macau to coincide with the Macau Grand Prix weekend. The debut edition of what's set to become an annual signature event brings together 12 of Asia's most celebrated chefs, holding a combined 24 Michelin stars between them — including Julien Royer of Singapore's Odette, Jimmy Lim of JL Studio, Umberto Bombana, Vicky Cheng and Hiroyasu Kawate, alongside names like Eom Taejin, Vianney Massot and Darren Teoh rounding out the lineup according to Galaxy's own announcement. Three leading mixologists join the culinary roster, including Andrew Ho of Hope & Sesame — freshly crowned this year's Asia's 50 Best Bars champion — plus Galaxy's own Nokoy Mak, Bar Manager at Long Bar, Raffles at Galaxy Macau.

The festival is built around the Five Elements — Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth — with each chef interpreting the theme through their own culinary lens, resulting in a genuinely immersive dining experience at Cabana complete with live performances across three sessions over the two days. Dream Voyage @ Galaxy Resort: Gao Xiaowu's Art Exhibition

Running now through November 17, Galaxy Promenade has been transformed by Dream Voyage, an exhibition from acclaimed Chinese contemporary sculptor Gao Xiaowu. Known for his philosophy of "the moment that is" and his warm, accessible visual language exploring urban life and human connection, Gao presents six groups of his representative works across five thematic chapters: Dreams Begin, Breaking the Mold, Dreams Return, Gratitude Shared, and Love Expressed, tracing an arc from hope and individuality through to reflection, gratitude and love.

The exhibition opened with a ceremony officiated by Mr Cheng Wai Tong, Acting Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, alongside Galaxy Entertainment Group leadership and the artist himself. Adding a local dimension, Galaxy Macau partnered with the Macau Artist Society to invite six emerging Macau artists, together with participating Galaxy Promenade brands, to reinterpret Gao's iconic "Future Dreams" sculpture in miniature — each infusing the piece with their own colours and creative perspective. Visitors can join in too, at the Colour Your Angel Workshop, personalising their own Future Dreams mini sculpture to take home.

Extending the theme beyond the gallery, a larger-than-life mechanical plush cat named Dream Friend will take up residence at Pearl Lobby from October 1 to November 19, nestled inside a giant suitcase and delighting guests with playful, lifelike movements throughout the day. A collection of three limited-edition Dream Friend blind-box figurines will also be available for redemption with qualifying purchases at Galaxy Promenade.

New at Galaxy Promenade

The art and dining lineup arrives alongside a fresh wave of retail openings. Ralph Lauren has unveiled a new boutique at Pearl Lobby, carrying Purple Label and Collection lines exclusive to Macau, alongside Ralph's Coffee — the brand's first and only location in the city. Moose Knuckles has opened its first standalone store in Hong Kong and Macau at Galaxy Promenade, with an exclusive opening gift for purchases through September 30. From September 26, a new Starbucks Reserve™ Coffee Experience Store opens along Promenade Central, just steps from the Dream Voyage exhibition. Further additions are on the way too, including a new Loro Piana boutique, Scents Library, APM Monaco, vinavast, a refreshed On store and a Versace pop-up.
