The Westin Singapore | Hotel Review
SINGAPORE
When I headed to Singapore in October for IMM Asia, TravMedia's International Media Marketplace held at Suntec Singapore on October 19–20, I needed a base that was comfortable and in a prime location.
The Westin Singapore turned out to be exactly that kind of base. It is a five-star hotel built for the business traveller, set in the heart of the financial district, with views over Marina Bay and the calm, wellness-focused feel the Westin brand is known for.

Location
The Westin sits on levels 32 to 46 of Asia Square Tower 2, at 12 Marina View. It was Singapore's first hotel integrated into an office building, and you feel that the moment you arrive: you are surrounded by banks, law firms and corporate headquarters in the Central Business District.
For a work trip, the location is hard to fault. Shenton Way MRT station is about a minute's walk away, Downtown station is around four minutes, and Raffles Place is a short stroll. Changi Airport is roughly 25 minutes by car. Getting to Suntec Singapore for IMM was a quick taxi or MRT ride across Marina Bay. When the working day ended, Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion and Gardens by the Bay were all within about a 15-minute walk.

Accommodation
The hotel has 305 rooms and suites, all fitted with Westin's signature Heavenly Bed, a pillowtop bed with a down comforter that genuinely helped after long days on my feet at the show. Because the hotel begins on the 32nd floor, even standard rooms enjoy elevated views across the city, the bay or the Straits of Singapore. Rooms include marble bathrooms, espresso machines, minibars and laptop-sized safes, along with a proper work desk.
The views are a real highlight. Even with the seasonal haze softening the skyline during my October stay, looking out over the bay from that height was a lovely way to start and end each day. Guests in Westin Club rooms and suites also get access to the Westin Club Lounge on level 35, which the hotel positions as a quiet space to relax, work or host small meetings. Marriott Bonvoy members can use mobile key, and services include same-day dry cleaning and 24-hour room service, both useful during a busy conference week.

Facilities
This is where the Westin really shows its business credentials. The hotel has 10 meeting rooms and around 1,350 square metres of event space, including two ballrooms with audiovisual systems, making it a natural fit for corporate events, board meetings and launches. The Westin Club Lounge doubles as a handy informal meeting spot, and the concierge and front desk run 24 hours. For travellers who need to keep working between appointments, it is an efficient, well-organised hotel.
The outdoor infinity pool on level 35 looks out over Marina Bay and Singapore's south coast, and is open from 6am to 10pm, perfect for an early swim before the show or a wind-down after it. The WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio is open 24 hours and equipped with Technogym machines, and the hotel also runs yoga classes. For something more indulgent, the Heavenly Spa by Westin has six treatment rooms offering massages, body treatments and facials, plus a whirlpool, steam room and relaxation lounge.

Dining
The signature restaurant is Seasonal Tastes on level 32, an all-day dining venue built around interactive live kitchens serving international and local dishes, with healthier choices from Westin's Eat Well menu. It is a reliable spot for a working breakfast before heading out to meetings. One floor up on level 33, Cook & Brew is a gastro-bar serving local and international comfort food alongside craft beers, wines and cocktails, with sweeping views over Marina Bay. The Lobby Lounge on level 32 serves cocktails and afternoon tea, and Daily Treats offers grab-and-go options. And if you need a change of scene, the CBD on your doorstep is packed with restaurants, from food courts to fine dining.

Overview
The Westin Singapore is a polished, practical choice for anyone travelling to the city on business. Its CBD address, MRT access and strong meeting facilities make it easy to get work done, while the infinity pool, spa and Heavenly Beds make it easy to switch off afterwards. For a conference trip like IMM Asia, it struck the right balance between efficiency and comfort. I would happily stay again.
