MUS.za's Seventh 'Give While You Get' Campaign Puts Youth Mental Health in the Spotlight
SINGAPORE
Singapore jeweller MUS Zenith Affair (MUS.za) is once again turning its Raffles Hotel Arcade boutique into a force for good. Its annual "Give While You Get" fundraiser, now in its seventh year, is raising money for ResiL!ence, the community mental health service run by SHINE Children and Youth Services for young people aged 12 to 25.
This is the second year running that the campaign has supported youth mental health. Last year's edition raised around S$370,000 for ResiL!ence, according to MUS.za. The 2026 campaign launched with a cocktail evening at the boutique on 15 August and will end with the brand's annual Charity Fundraising Dinner in the Jubilee Ballroom at Raffles Hotel Singapore on 9 November.

This year's theme, "Piecing You Together", grew out of founder Esther Ho's own story. While learning more about youth mental health through her work with SHINE in 2025, she was advised by a psychologist to be assessed herself, and was diagnosed with ADHD.
Rather than being upset, Ho says the diagnosis helped her make sense of herself. "I'm happy to be a role model!" she said. She hopes the campaign encourages families to give young people the patience to discover who they are, "instead of forcing them to fit into somebody else's puzzle".
The cause is close to home in another way, too. Ho has spoken about watching a younger relative withdraw from the world for months at a time, an experience that came flooding back when she watched "Shutdown", CNA's documentary series on Singapore's so-called hidden youth.
To mark the theme, MUS.za has created a set of six interlocking gold puzzle pendants lined with pavé diamonds, designed to be collected by groups of friends and extended with extra pieces on request.

The campaign includes several ways to get involved. Supporters who donate or buy during the campaign are invited to become #CharityAmbassadors and take part in styled photoshoots at the boutique to share on social media. In August, Ho and her daughter, Carat 55 founder Zoie Teo, also hosted a jewellery design workshop for SHINE staff, volunteers and young people. Selected designs will be showcased at the dinner.
The November gala will once again be co-hosted by young people: Ho's 13-year-old granddaughter Victoria Grace Lee, 15-year-old Brendon Tan and 12-year-old Ian Lee. Guests can expect fine dining and a curated line-up of donated jewellery, products, experiences and services.
SHINE's executive director, Lee Seng Meng, praised Ho for going beyond fundraising, from volunteering her own time to bringing her family, team and community on board.
The need is real. According to the Ministry of Health figures cited by MUS.za, the number of school-going children aged up to 18 seen in public hospitals with a mental health diagnosis rose from 2,648 to 3,089 between 2024 and 2025.
