Lady M is marking its 10th anniversary in Hong Kong with an elegant twist on a Mid-Autumn Festival classic. The pâtisserie, known for its mille crêpes and cult-following seasonal launches, has unveiled the Jade Rabbit Lantern Gift Sets — part collectible art piece, part gourmet mooncake box — available for a limited time in Hong Kong and Macau.
The release nods to Lady M’s 2017 debut of the Grand Lantern Mooncake Gift Set, which became a seasonal icon.
This year’s edition leans deeper into storytelling: with a press of a button, the lantern emits a soft glow, illuminating a whimsical scene of the Jade Rabbit wandering through a fantastical, Alice in Wonderland–inspired world of Mid-Autumn motifs. Rendered in sophisticated pink and deep blue, accented with the brand’s signature gold detailing, it’s as much a statement décor item as it is a festival treat.
Inside, the six-piece set offers three flavours — Strawberry Matcha, Coconut, and Tiramisu — each meticulously crafted. The matcha custard is laced with fragrant strawberry pieces, the coconut filling accented with fine shreds for texture, and the tiramisu version layers coffee yoghurt custard beneath a cocoa-scented shell. For smaller-scale gifting, Lady M has also introduced a two-piece edition featuring French-style mooncakes inspired by its signature Earl Grey Mille Crêpes and a Mixed Nuts Praline creation, both enveloped in smooth milk chocolate with intricate, layered interiors.
The sets are sold in voucher form during the early-bird period, with redemption beginning 22 August. Prices start at HK$258 for the 2-piece and HK$538 for the 6-piece during pre-sale, available across Lady M boutiques in Hong Kong and Macau. Given the brand’s track record — last year’s two-piece set sold out within days — availability is likely to be fleeting.
