WOLF x Fiona Howard: British Printmaker's Hand-Carved Art Hidden Inside New Sophia Jewellery Boxes

British luxury brand WOLF has launched a new collaboration with printmaker Fiona Howard, lining the inside of its bestselling Sophia jewellery boxes and travel cases with a hand-carved botanical print — a design detail visible only once the piece is opened.

What Is the WOLF x Fiona Howard Collection?

The WOLF x Fiona Howard Collection brings Howard's Fruit Botanical print into WOLF's Sophia range, one of the British brand's longest-running and best-selling jewellery storage lines. WOLF has been producing watch storage and luxury accessories since 1834, and is now in its fifth generation as a family-led company.

Rather than featuring on the exterior, the Fruit Botanical print lines the interior of each piece, so the artwork only appears once a box or case is opened. The exteriors are finished in three colourways — forest green, indigo, and jade — keeping the outside deliberately understated.

The Fruit Botanical design is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and produced using traditional lino-printing techniques. Howard hand-draws each design, carves it into lino, and prints it in individually carved colour layers, building up the finished pattern gradually rather than in a single pass — a process she has refined over 30 years working in home furnishing textile design. Howard is best known internationally for creating Sanderson's "Dandelion Clocks" design.

The collaboration covers four pieces from WOLF's Sophia line:

WOLF Also Launches the Lauren Collection

Alongside the Fiona Howard collaboration, WOLF has introduced a second, more contemporary line called the Lauren Collection. Where the Fiona Howard pieces centre on hand-carved, hidden artwork, Lauren is built around geometric stitch detailing in ivory, black, and caramel, using entirely plant-based materials. Every piece includes WOLF's LusterLoc™ lining, designed to prevent jewellery from tarnishing. Lauren pieces are priced from HK$1,475 to HK$9,949.
