Is This the Most Aesthetic Nail Salon in Hong Kong? Inside Nail Jolly
HONG KONG
Hong Kong has no shortage of nail salons, but very few manage to be as easy on the eye as they are on the hands. Nail Jolly has been quietly doing both since 2010, and with three branches across Central, Taikoo Place and Tsim Sha Tsui, each with its own distinct look and mood, it makes a surprisingly strong case for the title.

Three Branches, Three Moods
The Central flagship is the one most likely to end up on your feed. Set on the first floor of Shama Central on Peel Street, in the middle of SoHo and a short stroll from Tai Kwun and PMQ, it occupies more than 1,500 square feet of pale, minimalist space that leans calm. Private rooms keep appointments feeling unhurried, and the salon's resident cat, A Gan, holds the unofficial title of store manager and is usually found napping through the proceedings.
Over on Hong Kong Island's east side, the Taikoo Place branch, tucked into Devon House near Quarry Bay MTR, takes a warmer, Japanese-inspired approach that suits a lunch-break escape from the office. Across the harbour, the Tsim Sha Tsui outpost at Johnson Centre is positioned as the livelier option, handy for a post-shopping or pre-movie appointment.

What to Book
The menu is broad, but a few services do most of the talking. The Soft Gel Manicure (HK$498, 60 minutes) is the salon's own most popular pick, delivering a polished, natural-looking finish, while the Signature Manicure (HK$598 for classic polish, 75 minutes) adds a hand soak, scrub and massage for something more indulgent. For anyone who prefers a gentler formula, the NCLA Gelous range is made without seven common toxins and is described by the salon as safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with the express gel manicure starting at HK$598.
Where the salon really earns its aesthetic reputation is the customisation. Nail art starts from just HK$30, jewels from HK$5, and add-ons run from two-tone and glitter finishes to gradients and French tips. A rotating Monthly Hotpicks selection updates every month for a small supplement of HK$101, and clients who want a specific artist can request one for an extra HK$50.
Beyond Nails
Nail Jolly isn't a one-trick salon. The lash menu includes a Keratin Lash Lift (HK$688) for anyone who wants curl and definition without extensions, alongside Japanese lash extensions from HK$799 and 2D volume sets from HK$899. There are also dedicated manicure and pedicure options for men and a short kids' menu, plus tailored group packages for bridal showers, birthdays and corporate events, which makes it a practical choice for celebrations as well as solo self-care.
