Nestled alongside the Mandarin Oriental’s main beach, the establishment offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience elevated by it’s unique setting. The offering presents a modern innovative sushi menu influenced by Peruvian flavours, appetizers, Tempura, noodles, Teppanyaki and robata grill dishes.

Packed to the rafters during dinner when we visited, there were a lot of celebrations going on. We were sat at the side of the restaurants near the robata grills, with the chefs busy working away. The menu is long; split into sashimi, sushi, soups, rice dishes, seafood and meat grills, I stared dumbfoundedly for a few moments before surrendering to the waiter to pick his favourites. There was just too much good nosh to choose from.

We kicked off the meal with a bottle of Ruinart and Edamame glistened with salt flakes and were lovely served warm. A red miso soup had a real punch to it, pairing well with the sashimi that followed.

I'm not one to pass up on eel, you know that. We ordered the eel nigiri rolls. These were soft, silken and sweet with a light crunch. I hogged all of it.

The meal, washed down with around a bottle of Ruinart and 6 cocktails each, was fabulous. I can’t think of a better way to spend an evening in Bodrum - and top tip, head right down to Lucca by the Beach for a post-dinner boogie.
