HONG KONG
The weather continues to heat up, and so is Hong Kong's dining scene. September brings another wave of exciting new menus across the city, while wellness workshops and a beloved musical will keep you entertained throughout the month.

GYU+ Bar by Miyoshi – Wagyu-led Menu
After its soft opening period earlier this year, GYU+ Bar by Miyoshi makes its official grand opening this September. With that also comes the launch of a new Wagyu-led menu (HK$ 1,380 per person) rooted in the philosophy of Kyoto’s Michelin-starred Niku no Takumi Miyoshi and its self-taught chef Tsutomu Ito. Through Kyoto native and Executive Chef Auyumi Matsuda, Ito’s philosophy extends to Hong Kong in a contemporary way, exploring the possibilities of Wagyu through different means: sashimi, consommé, sushi, shabu-shabu and wood-fired preparations. The dinner menu begins with Truffle Beef Wine served in a wine glass, followed by Wagyu Sashimi made from thinly-sliced Kagoshima A5 ichibo (rum cap). The menu also includes Kagoshima A5 Wagyu Sirloin prepared as shabu-shabu in the Miyoshi style.

Zozzona – Pasta Omakase Menu
Neighbourhood pasta bar Zozzona introduces a new menu, and the dishes rest in Takayuki Kumai’s hands. The new Pasta Omakase Menu (HK$488 per person) follows a seasonal tasting voyage dedicated to the craft of homemade pasta, where Japanese ingredients and techniques blend with Italian tradition through Takayuki Kumai’s eyes. Billed as the “only” pasta omakase menu in town, it begins with a comforting Sweet Corn & Chicken Dashi Soup before moving to the Shima-Aji Crudo. Then come the pasta courses, from Homemade Capellini to Homemade Chitarra and finally, Homemade Fettuccine. Conclude the meal with Daily Gelato and Seasonal Japanese Fruit to refresh yourselves.

Terrace Boulud – New Menu and Cocktail Programme
Terrace Boulud, Daniel Boulud’s contemporary rooftop French brasserie at Landmark Prince’s, launches a new seasonal menu and cocktail programme that captures the many moods of Hong Kong’s summer. Shaped by chef Boulud’s vision and brought to the table by chef Aurélie Altemaire and the bar team, the menus reflect the restaurant’s take on the French art de vivre—where food, drinks, and time spent together are part of the experience. Start the feast with two seafood starters: Crabe Royal and Sériole. Then comes the richer end of the menu: the lobster Vol-Au-Vent, followed by Tournedos Rossini, Fettuccine, Macao (latest addition to DB x MO Dim Sum), and Épaule d’Agneau. To finish, the pastry team revisits the French tradition of fruit givré with their Pitaya Givré. Pair your meal with new cocktails such as Framboise Highball, The Mandarin, or Piment d’Amour.

Yurt – Discovery Menu
Yurt, Hong Kong’s first modern Central Asian restaurant, launches its first seasonal tasting menu. The Discovery Menu (HK$700) is a journey across seven courses and cities in Central Asia—modern and ancient—with each inspiring a different dish. The format follows the rhythm of a nomadic meal, from a warm welcome to a nourishing core dish, a pause for tea, and a sweet parting gift. At the centre of the new menu are authentic ingredients such as horse steak, black caviar, perch, Dungan marinade, regional grains, and an assortment of sour cheeses.
Kazakh native and Head Chef Marat Zakaryayev curated the menu after his first trip to Kazakhstan since moving to Hong Kong to open Yurt. Expect old and new recipes inspired by his travel and connection with his culinary roots. The feast begins with Salem Beru “to salute with respect”—a serving of black caviar and brined mackerel. Next comes Chalop, a cold fermented ayran soup, and then diners can choose from four main course options. Standouts include the Horse Steak and Perch. Then comes Sharbat, a homemade palate cleanser, followed by Bal Tatu—a pick between two options before ending with Asyq, homemade chocolates served with tary tea. A non-alcoholic drinks pairing is available for HK$198.

Dynasty Restaurant – Cantonese Rhythm, Urban Reverie Tasting Menu
Dynasty, the award-winning restaurant at Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong, unveils its new culinary series “Cantonese Rhythm, Urban Reverie,” which features a new tasting menu that showcases the flavours of Cantonese cuisine. Executive Chinese Chef Suen Kam Sing draws on the rich foundations of Cantonese culinary traditions with a dash of contemporary flair to craft the menu. Think sauces with sake and plum or replacing huadiao wine with Japanese umeshu. The six-course menu starts with a refreshing Cold Fresh Razor Clams in Plum Sauce with Deep-fried Taishan Oysters, followed by the warming Shredded Fish Maw with Fresh Mashed Fish.
Next comes the Cold Marinated Pigeon with Plum Wine to awaken your taste buds even further. Make sure to have room for the Poached Rice with Diced Shrimp and Homemade Seafood Broth before ending with the Sweetened Guava Cream and Chilled Loquat Pudding with Snow Fungus. Twist Pasta Bar — New Weekend Lunch & Seasonal Menu
Bridges Street's beloved Italian-local hybrid has launched its first-ever weekend lunch (Saturdays and Sundays, 12–2.30pm), with a sharing-style set at HK$280 per person covering starters, pasta, and an off-menu Iced Affogato to finish. Head Chef Ben Sears has also refreshed the seasonal menu with standout new dishes: a Burrata with "Smacked Cucumber" salad using a Chinese technique to maximise the garlic-sesame dressing, and a Trottole with locally sourced clams, 'nduja, and Thai basil that's already a strong contender for dish of the season. Free-flow upgrades available from HK$198 (non-alcoholic) or HK$228.

Nobu Hong Kong — Tuna Premium Omakase
Throughout June, Nobu at the Regent is spotlighting peak-season tuna from Shizuoka — at this time of year the fish are at their most active and yield leaner, more refined flesh. The Tuna Premium Omakase (HK$1,888/person) features rare cuts including tuna cheek in the Yonten Mori four-selection sashimi platter, alongside A5 Wagyu with Goma Ponzu and an Omakase Sushi Selection with clear soup. A Tuna Cutting Ceremony on June 25 adds a theatrical flourish to round out the month.

Hutong — Red Lantern Series: Occasionally Fiery
Running until June 28, Hutong's limited-time Red Lantern menu pays tribute to the Guizhou chilli that first put the restaurant on the map. Six curated courses trace the depth of Sichuan spice — from the original Crispy Soft-shell Crab with Sichuan Dried Chilli to Lau Fau Shan Oysters in Sichuan Chilli Pepper Broth, Flaming Wagyu Beef Char Siu, and Crispy Lobster, all presented in the restaurant's signature lantern baskets. Fiery, theatrical, and unmistakably Hutong.

Giando — 12th Anniversary Menu
Giando, the Italian restaurant founded by chef Gianni Caprioli, is now entering its 12th anniversary at the Star Street Location. To celebrate, chef Caprioli is offering a limited-time 12th Anniversary Menu (HK$1,188), allowing diners to enjoy six signature dishes from June 1 to August 31. First comes the classic Gazpacho, a refreshing cold soup to whet the palate. The second course, Piatto Di Antipasti, is a hidden item at Giando and is now available to try. It’s a selection platter featuring four distinct types of Italian antipasti, offering guests a little bit of everything. Make room for the third course, the Duo Di Primi, which presents two types of pasta. The next is a choice of two mains, Patagonian Toothfish with Clam Broth and Sicilian Cherry or Lamb Rack with Artichokes, followed by a satisfying dessert, Coconut Sorbet with mango. Diners enjoying the special menu can also opt for Italian wine pairings (HK$588 per person). The sommelier team has curated Italian wines for four of the courses.

Embla — New Summer Menu
Chef Jim Löfdahl's Nordic kitchen in Sheung Wan is back with a summer menu that's quiet confidence on a plate. Highlights include seared and pickled mackerel with confit turnip and tomato essence, steamed cod with clams and mushroom garum velouté, and Wagyu A4 with pickled burdock, horseradish, and pine sauce. Dinner is priced at HK$1,288 per person, with optional Nordic wine pairings at HK$1,188.

Pici — 10th Anniversary x Napoli Matfia Collaboration
Hong Kong's beloved handmade pasta chain is celebrating a decade with a bang: a collaboration with Napoli Matfia, winner of Netflix's Culinary Class Wars. The festivities kick off with a free public market at PMQ on June 27 (12–7pm) featuring pasta-making stations, a live chef demo, and a Young Pasta Chef Competition. The limited-edition collaboration menu — including Tagliolini Sicilian Prawn Tartare e Bottarga (HK$180) and Pici White Poultry Ragu & Truffle (HK$160) — then rolls out across all Pici locations from July 1 for the whole month.

Flat Iron Burger — Viral Coin Burger, Lunch Set and Free Slider Fridays
Flat Iron Burger brings the viral coin burger trend to Hong Kong with its very own Coin Burgers, available at the Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui locations from June 4. Each Coin Burger set (HK$168) includes six miniature smashed burgers layered with chargrilled dry-aged beef and American cheese inside Bakehouse buns. These delicious delights are served in a custom slide-out box with Flat Iron Burger's signature dipping sauce.
In addition, a HK$98 lunch set is now available at Flat Iron Burger Wan Chai. Each diner can choose between the brand's signature dry-aged beef burger, a free-range chicken burger or a classic fish burger, accompanied by fries, salad, a drink, and a chocolate fudge sundae. The promotion is only available for dine-in.
If that's not enough, why not enjoy “Free Slider Fridays” once the weekday ends? Complimentary sliders are available every Friday from 6 to 7 pm when enjoying drinks or dinner at Flat Iron Burger Wan Chai.

aqua — The Essence of aqua Tasting Menu
The Essence of aqua tasting menu marks the arrival of Italian executive chef Romeo Morelli and unites the restaurant’s mastery of Italian-Japanese cuisine. The seven-course menu (HK$1,388 per person) is available until June 18. It showcases the best of both worlds—Italian and Japanese perspectives—with an optional wine pairing for HK$688 per person. Start with a series of seasonal appetisers such as Bluefin Tuna Tartare with Dashi Crystal and Caviar, as well as Ise Lobster Steamed Egg Custard with Lobster Miso Bisque. The meal transitions into two distinct presentations. On the Italian side, the Roman-inspired Cannelloni Ossobuco Style is inspired by chef Romeo's cherished family memories and a modern interpretation of lasagna. Alternatively, the Japanese kitchen’s Somen Noodles with Scallop and Sakura Shrimp Crisps is a dish refined by sweetness and layered umami.
Move to the main course with options such as Fried Sole Fish with Kabura-mushi Turnip and Yuzu Prawn Stock and Roasted Octopus Tentacle with ‘Nduja, Black Garlic, and Chicory Sprouts on the Italian side. Otherwise, elevate the experience with Chargrilled Kobe Beef Steak with Pepper Sauce, Kyoto Togarashi, and Bamboo Shoots if you have a penchant for Japanese delights. End on a sweet note in either Italian or Japanese style: an Italian composition of chocolate, coffee, and homemade savoiardi or a Japanese expression of wasabi, chocolate, and ginger with monaka.
What's New in the Hong Kong Bar Scene in June 2026

Maggie Choo's — New 10-Cocktail Menu
Celebrating its third anniversary, Maggie Choo's has launched a brand-new cocktail menu under newly appointed Head of Cocktail Programme Abim Malla. Drawing on 1920s intrigue and East-meets-West cultural exchange, the 10-drink range runs from the clarified Maggie's Martini (gin, English breakfast tea, white peach) to the theatrical Remains of Mystery — a gin and umeshu plum sour served in a Chinese ceramic cup with table-side smoke. Each cocktail is priced at HK$168. The venue's fourth cabaret season, "Becoming Her", runs every Thursday from 9.30pm — no cover charge.

Cassio Social Club — Silver Tray Society (Every Wednesday)
Cassio has launched a weekly Wednesday night concept that leans hard into nostalgia: live-grilled premium burgers and martinis served from a roving silver trolley, packaged in custom happy meal boxes. Choose your tier — The Small, The Medium, or The Large — and settle in for scratch cards, a photobooth, and exclusive guest bartenders. Silly, fun, and very Cassio.

The Pontiac — Pride Month Rainbow Road Tour
The Pontiac — Hong Kong's legendary rock-and-roll dive bar and a seven-year fixture on the Asia's 50 Best Bars list — is kicking off its Rainbow Road Tour for Pride Month: a series of regional bar takeovers and cross-border collaborations bringing top-tier talent together under one roof. GM and Partner Jen Queen leads the charge. No rainbow-washing here — just genuine community, great cocktails, and the rebellious spirit the bar was built on. Check their socials for the full event calendar.

Draft Land x Monkey Shoulder — Monkey Old Fashioned Campaign
Running until June 25 at Draft Land Causeway Bay, this month-long collaboration puts a playful spin on the Old Fashioned using Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch. Three limited-time cocktails — Funky Monkey, Stoic Monkey, and Warrior Monkey — are served on tap in Draft Land's signature format. A fun, approachable entry point into the classics for those who prefer their cocktails without the fuss.

Flower Years at Eaton HK — World Cup Pregame Beer Party
Ahead of the World Cup, Eaton's Flower Years is throwing a one-night beer party on June 26 (6–11pm) with three hours of free-flow including HK Beer Co.'s limited Goooal! Happy Rice Lager, Stella Artois, and Budweiser on draft, plus bar snacks, a live DJ, and football mini-games including juggling competitions and shooting challenges. Early bird tickets at HK$285/person until June 25 — HK$325 at the door.
