No Curfew Club Returns: Y2K Energy Takes Over Aer This August

The cult-favourite event series is back for round two – and tickets are selling out fast.

If you were among the lucky ones who scored a ticket to No Curfew Club's May debut, you already know: this is not your average Hong Kong night out. For those who missed out – or those still recovering from the sheer joy of screaming every word to "Everybody" by Backstreet Boys – here is your second chance.

Following the success of their sold-out launch, No Curfew Club is back at Aer on August 1 for another four hours of pure, unadulterated Y2K energy. And yes, they have kept the millennial-friendly bedtime of 5–9pm. Because we have things to do on Sunday.

Four Hours, Four Genres

This is not a random playlist of early 2000s hits. It is a carefully curated chronological journey through the decade that gave us low-rise jeans, MSN usernames, and questionable side fringes.

DJ Crystal So is taking the decks, and she is serving up a different genre every hour:

• 5:00 PM – The R&B Hour: Smooth classics from Usher, Ashanti, and Destiny's Child. Yeah!

• 6:00 PM – The Hip-Hop Drop: Strictly the anthems. Nelly, 50 Cent, and Missy Elliott. Work it.

• 7:00 PM – The Pop Sing-Along: A room full of us screaming the bridge to every iconic pop hit. Bye Bye Bye to your voice – because Backstreet's Back, Alright!

• 8:00 PM – The BIG Throwback Beats: The ultimate peak. Think "Show Me Love," "Rhythm of the Night," "I'm Blue (Da Ba Dee)," and J-Lo's "Waiting for Tonight."

Tickets are a total package deal. Each entry includes:

• 1 Burger

• 1 Drink

• 1 Scoop of Crème Club Hong Kong's artisan gelato

• Final 10 Tickets: HK$380

Door tickets will not be available due to capacity limits. And if the May event is anything to go by, these will vanish fast. Last time, they sold out in a week. Do not sleep on this.
