Hotel pools — whether open-air with harbour views or serene indoor sanctuaries — remain the city's most civilised answer to that problem. Four Seasons Hong Kong


One of Central's most enduring five-star addresses, the Four Seasons' heated outdoor Pool Terrace faces the harbour and is widely considered one of the most coveted pool experiences in the city. For those wanting regular access, membership tiers and Spa Programmes are available; the monthly Full Moon Floating Sound Bath — a collaboration with IKIGAI in which guests float in the lap pool while crystal bowls and gongs are played live — is open to the public and bookable via the Four Seasons eShop.

Rosewood Hong Kong


Sky-high above West Kowloon, the Rosewood's Asaya pool is one of the most sought-after pool decks in the city — lavishly appointed with sun beds and sweeping views across east Hong Kong harbour. Day passes for non-hotel guests include a wellness package covering gym or group class, sauna or steam room, and jacuzzi.

Regent Hong Kong


Perched at the tip of Tsim Sha Tsui with uninterrupted views across Victoria Harbour, the Regent's pool operates less as an amenity and more as a statement. Day beds are well-spaced, the deck unhurried, and the views the kind that make you forget what day it is.

St. Regis Hong Kong


Set in the heart of Wan Chai, the St. Regis is one of the city's newer luxury arrivals — intimate in scale, impeccably finished, and home to an outdoor rooftop pool that punches well above its size. Sun loungers, a poolside bar with a resident mixologist, and excellent food make this one of the more enjoyable pool days available. Day passes have been made available to non-guests on a seasonal basis.

Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong


Hong Kong's newest design-led arrival — opened late 2025 — brings a distinctly California energy to the city's pool scene. The 50th-floor heated infinity pool at Swim Club offers 270-degree views across Victoria Harbour, private cabanas, inventive cocktails, and a weekend Baja Brunch that turns a pool day into something altogether more social.

JW Marriott Hong Kong


A well-established five-star in Admiralty, connected to Pacific Place and quietly tucked between the energy of Central and the green of Hong Kong Park. The outdoor pool is surrounded by lush greenery with skyline views, and the day pass — running 6am to 10pm — includes the fitness centre, sauna, steam room, and a 20% dining discount at the poolside Fish Bar.

Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong


An elegant urban institution in the heart of Admiralty, the Island Shangri-La's recently refurbished YUN WELLNESS pool on the 8th floor is a genuine draw. The heated 28-metre outdoor pool is surrounded by greenery and offers sweeping Peak views; a dedicated WATERPLAY area with splash park and paddling pool makes it one of the strongest family pool options in the city. Luxury cabanas are available for hire.

Grand Hyatt Hong Kong


A landmark Wan Chai address, and a hotel that has hosted enough of the city's great occasions to feel like a civic institution. The Plateau Spa pool is tucked behind a tree-lined pathway — tropical, secluded, and a genuine surprise given the surroundings. The day pass includes pool, fitness centre, steam room, sauna, and a HK$500 dining credit for The Grill.

The Langham, Hong Kong


A heavyweight on Kowloon's luxury hotel scene, the Langham in Tsim Sha Tsui offers a rooftop heated pool and hot tub within its Chuan Body + Soul wellness sanctuary — one of the few places in the city where you can genuinely sunbathe without distraction. Calm, well-run, and paired with the excellent Chuan Spa directly adjacent.





The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong


Hong Kong's first Fullerton resort sits on the Southside of Hong Kong Island, facing the South China Sea rather than a skyline. The infinity pool meets the ocean horizon; a kids' lagoon with tunnels and slides runs alongside it. A nature-forward resort on the Sai Kung coastline where lush mountains meet open sea. The wraparound infinity pool faces open water on all sides, and this summer the hotel has built an impressive activity programme around it — wakeboarding, ocean conservation, island speedboat transfers, even kayaking with your dog. INDOOR POOLS



The Peninsula Hong Kong


The Peninsula has defined Hong Kong hospitality since 1928, and its 18-metre heated indoor pool on the 8th floor — with skyline views and direct connection to a sun terrace — is executed with characteristic precision. Hot and cold jacuzzis, sauna, and steam rooms complete the facilities. Weekday passes are available to non-hotel guests.

The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong


The world's highest hotel, occupying floors 102–118 of the ICC tower in West Kowloon. Its indoor pool on the 118th floor features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a mirrored ceiling, and a 28m x 7m LED screen overhead. Day passes are also available.
