The Towers Harbour Suite at Royal Pacific Hotel

HONG KONG

There's a plethora of boutique hotels sprawled across the city and this year, we've been covering some of the lesser-known gems in the mix. Royal Pacific Hotel (a sister property to The Pottinger, Hong Kong) is a Tsim Sha Tsui abode ideal for a quick urban getaway and harbourfront treat. We check into The Towers Harbour Suite for a night in the city.

The hotel is situated in bustling Tsim Sha Tsui, only moments away from Ocean Terminal and Harbourcity, at the forefront of shopping on the iconic Canton Road. Guests can easily arrive by car, taxi or MTR, plus the Star Ferry takes you to Central, is a short 10 minute walk from the property.

The 70-square-metre Towers Harbour Suite is a chic, ambiant space, decked in deep woods and sophisticated furnishings. There's a lounge area, dressing place, a full marble bathroom and separate dining and work space which is ideal for those working abroad.

There are four onsite restaurants at the hotel – Satay Inn, Café on the Park, Pierside Bar & Restaurant and Park Deli.

Royal Pacific Hotel boasts everything you need for an urban getaway – its convenient location, proximity to shopping and dining and chic interiors. Although the restaurants at the hotel aren't exactly luxury, they make for a quick meal anytime of the day, but there's also the option of the nearby eateries – it is Tsim Sha Tsui, after all. Some of the hotel facilities feel outdates, but staff are friendly nonetheless and the room itself is a quaint accommodation and we'd recommend it's worth upgrading to a suite.
