HONG KONG

Three minutes in a cryo chamber, 30 minutes breathing pressurised oxygen, and a facial that works on your skin at a cellular level — all in one visit, all in the same Central building. That's the pitch at Be Earth Wellness, and we went in to test as much of it as we reasonably could in a single sitting. Here's what each treatment actually felt like, what it's meant to do, and who it's for.

Where We Went

Be Earth Wellness is on the 14th floor of On Building, 162 Queen's Road Central — the same address as Be Earth Yoga, which runs its studio across the 2nd and 7th floors below. Book a recovery treatment upstairs, then head down for a class, without leaving the building.

We tried:

  • Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber

  • Cryo Chamber (Whole-Body Cryotherapy)

  • Svenson Chair (pelvic floor and core therapy)

  • Rebalance Impulse (neuro-relaxation bed)

  • LDM Cell Rejuvenation Facial

LDM Cell Rejuvenation Facial

We started with an LDM facial — Local Dynamic Micro-massage, using multiple ultrasound frequencies at once to work several skin layers simultaneously rather than just the surface.

What it does: Stimulates collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid at a cellular level to firm and tone skin and calm inflammation, with no downtime.

Who it's for: Anyone wanting a more clinical alternative to a standard facial, with visible results but nothing invasive.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber

You lie comfortably in a pressurised chamber breathing oxygen concentrations well above normal air, letting the body absorb far more oxygen than usual. Sessions run 30, 60, or 90 minutes (HK$880; HK$1,500; HK$2,000, respectively).

What it does: Said to boost the immune system, support faster recovery from injury, and lift energy and mental clarity — most people feel recharged almost immediately. I actually found that I had amazing sleep after doing this.

Who it's for: Anyone dealing with fatigue or slow recovery. It's the gentlest treatment on the list, so a good starting point.

Cryo Chamber (Whole-Body Cryotherapy)

The most intense three minutes of the day. The chamber drops you into controlled extreme cold — typically -50°C to -84°C or colder — triggering a rapid fight-or-flight response. HKD 1,000 per session.

What it does: Boosts circulation, cuts inflammation, and leaves you feeling energised almost instantly. Also linked to faster muscle recovery, less joint soreness, a mood lift, and sharper focus.

Who it's for: Athletes or anyone nursing muscle soreness, but really anyone chasing a fast, noticeable energy spike.

Svenson Chair

A genuine surprise — you sit fully clothed while magnetic pulses target the pelvic floor, core, glutes, hips, and spinal-support muscles. 30 minutes for HKD 1,680.

What it does: Strengthens the pelvic floor and core for better bladder control, eases lower back pain, supports postpartum recovery, and is linked to improved sexual health and better sleep.

Who it's for: Wider than it first sounds — pelvic floor health, core strength, and lower back support matter well beyond any one group.

Rebalance Impulse

A neuroscience-based relaxation device on a zero-gravity lounger, exclusive to Be Earth in Hong Kong. 20–30 minutes for HKD 1,680.

What it does: Targets chronic stress, sleep quality, and mental sharpness, with nine customisable modes covering things like relaxation, memory, and jet-lag recovery. Some people fall asleep within minutes.

Who it's for: Anyone running on high stress or poor sleep — the most passive, lie-back-and-let-it-happen treatment on the list.

Worth Knowing

Be Earth's Central space is also hosting the Nervous System Reset Open Summit & Wellness Fair on Sunday, 20 September 2026 (10am–6pm) — organised by ATLAS Chiropractic as a fundraiser for Mind HK, with panels, workshops, recovery experiences, yoga, and sound baths. Entry starts at HKD 150, with a HKD 580 package covering five recovery experiences.

And don't skip Be Earth Yoga two floors down — if you're already making the trip up, it's worth pairing a recovery session with a class.
