The series is a continuation of Art in Resonance, The Peninsula Hotels’ global programme celebrating and nurturing contemporary art. Partnering with The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF), the Peninsula Art Trail is delighted to share the magnificent works by past winners of The Sovereign Asian Art Prize.
The Sovereign Art Foundation (SAF) is a charitable organisation founded in 2003 to recognise, support and promote contemporary art talent, as well as to bring the therapeutic benefits of art to disadvantaged children. SAF launched The Sovereign Asian Art Prize, which aims to increase the international exposure of artists in Asia, whilst raising funds by auctioning shortlisted artworks and sharing proceeds equally between the participating artists and SAF. SAF uses these proceeds to fund programmes that support disadvantaged children using expressive arts.
