Whether it be action or romance, we can always rely on one constant with our favourite television – a stellar location. More often than not, with the beautiful scenery comes an iconic luxury hotel. We, therefore, have collated a list of our favourite hotels in cinematographic locations that are accessible for your holiday, so you can share an experience with your favourite characters.

Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, Maui

The island of Maui is a popular holiday destination as it is. However, for those of you that watched the captivating first season of the psychological thriller slash dark comedy that is White Lotus, you have the potential the stay in the place that played host to all the drama. The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea houses 380 guests, across its sprawling complex, which also houses three pools, three restaurants, three golf courses, spa and art museum. For heated dinners like Shane and Rachel’s, guests can dine in the exact same spot at Wolfang Puck’s Spago, all while experiencing the traditional island culinary techniques of Hawaii. However, rest assured the staff and experience will be a great deal more professional than Armond.

Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Singapore’s most iconic hotel is nothing if not luxury. The hotel is home to the world’s largest infinity pool, situated at the top of designer Moshe Safdie’s masterpiece. The three-acre park that surrounds this swimming pool spans across the entirety of its buildings below, which features gardens and jogging paths. The unique hotel, inspired by casino card decks, plays a central role in the landscape of Jon M. Chu’s, Crazy Rich Asians, being the setting with which Rachel and Nick’s engagement party takes place. Whilst the film is saturated in splendid locations, this one, in particular, caught our attention as a key attraction when visiting Singapore.

The Ritz, London

For our favourite rom-com from the late ’90s, director Roger Mitchell’s Notting Hill, we need travel no further than the bustling centre of London, Piccadilly. Our favourite fictional actress Anna Scott resides in The Ritz during her stay in The Big Smoke. From the film, we assume The Ritz to be an all-exclusive location of luxury, as William poses as a reporter from Horse and Hound, and this is pretty close to the real thing. Historic elegance, five-star service and iconic afternoon tea are all found at The Ritz, which makes for its historical regard as one of the greatest hotels in the world.

Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Los Angeles

Not quite like the spooky settings of director Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters, The Millenium Biltmore Hotel has all the glamour of the film, without the ghouls. Located in Downtown LA, the property offers various special experiences including a Bridgerton-themed Afternoon Tea, Gallery Bar and Congac Room, and even an immersive night of magic at the Modern Parlor Magic Show – guests can watch sorcery without the threat of spectres. However, the fun does not end there, as nearby the hotel guests can get a sense of what Los Angeles has to offer. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), OUE SkySpace Los Angeles and Walt Disney Concert Hall are all within the Downtown district, enabling easy access to the extravagant LA experience.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris

A final favourite of ours is the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris, the very residence that the iconic Carrie Bradshaw stays in during her French vacation. The infamous Sex and the City series exhibits locations all over the world throughout the 94 episodes (and three movies). However, this is a personal favourite of ours for housing Carrie after her devastating departure from The Big Apple. Located on the infamous fashion-filled avenue Montaigne, guests can live just like Carrie, surrounded by gorgeous garments galore. Better still, if you are hoping to embody Bradshaw completely, Hôtel Plaza Athénée offers Carrie's exact room to guests, number 609, however, be hasty checking in if you want to secure the Sex and the City suite.
