Created together with Hongkong Land and LANDMARK, OPEN by HE.R – Halloween in Central is the opening move of Hong Kong's Halloween season. It's conceived as an epic city-centre masquerade, inviting families, friends, and music lovers to encounter Central from a new perspective. Expect HE.R's most powerful sound system to date, its most ambitious stage design yet, and the opportunity to explore "A Place to Chater".

A New Kind of Hong Kong Moment

For those unfamiliar with HE.R 鶴, the name might carry a certain mystique. Founded by Cocoa Zhou with music director Alex Nude, HE.R began as an invitation-only Saturday night residency in the vaults beneath Mott 32, one of Hong Kong's most storied restaurants. It quickly became one of the city's most coveted electronic music experiences — a place where the clientele understood quality and nuance, where the sound was refined and the atmosphere intimate .

The vision behind OPEN is both simple and audacious: to bring that signature energy above ground and onto the streets.

That question led to OPEN, a Hong Kong-born collaborative cultural platform that creates city moments where artists, partners, and audiences shape the experience together. Music is the connecting thread, bringing fashion, art, local culture, and community into unexpected landmark settings.

The Sound of the Night

The lineup for this Halloween edition is a careful blend of international talent and homegrown energy.

ANDHIM headline the evening. The German duo of Simon Haehnel and Tobias Müller have spent over a decade blurring the lines between house, indie dance, and leftfield electronica. Their self-described "Super House" sound is melodic, playful, and built for the moment an open-air crowd moves. They've released more than 60 originals and remixes, collaborated with artists like Diplo and Groove Armada, and built a reputation for sets that are as emotional as their driving. Their music is made to uplift — organic, feel-good, and free of pretension.

Charmeine brings a different kind of energy. The Ukrainian DJ, now based in Istanbul, started her career in 2020 and has since become a fixture across Hï Ibiza, ADE, Scorpios, and the Giza Pyiramds. Her sound moves between Afro house, house, tech house, and minimal — layered with disco, funk, and jazz. She's shared decks with Dixon, Âme, and Carlita, and her sets are described as sensual but driving: deep enough to get lost in, direct enough to pull an entire crowd forward.

HE.R Soundsystem represents the homegrown heart of the event. Alex Nude and Cocoa Zhou bring two distinct instincts into one B2B language: deep, melodic, and minimal house with tension in all the right places. Alex's genre-blurring selections move between sensuality and impact; Cocoa brings the magnetic pull of minimal tech, house, and indie dance. Together, they know exactly when to hold the room back — and when to let it go.

For those who want to extend the night, the HE.R 鶴 Afterparty takes place at HE.R 鶴 x Mott 32 in the Vaults of Standard Chartered Bank Building from 10:30 PM until late. Table and VIP ticket holders enjoy complimentary access to this elevated, intimate setting.
