The hotel is hidden away down a narrow alleyway and requires a bit of searching to get to, which makes it feel more appealing for those looking for a quiet stay. There's a small check-in desk on the first floor, a communal lounge and a terrace.
There are six room types at Residence G, starting from 206 square feet. The highest floor is home to the penthouse which boasts an impressive 808 square feet with a living area, kitchen, two bathrooms and a bedroom. It's an ideal space to hold parties and the hotel even offers a dedicated package for group gatherings.
The loft-like space had a warm ambiance to it with wooden and dark-toned furnishings throughout.
Essentially, the penthouse has all you need to make entertaining all the easier thanks to its sprawling open-plan space and convenient facilities.
On the ground floor of the hotel, neighbourhood favourite Scarlett Café & Wine Bar is actually part of the same hospitality group as Residence G, R&B Lab. We headed to the restaurant for dinner.
