What the Treatment Involves


The Advanced Microneedling & Peel Duo pairs two established skin resurfacing techniques rather than relying on either alone. Sessions run 40 minutes for the face, or 50 minutes if the neck is included.


The protocol follows a structured five-step process: a thorough pre-cleanse to clear makeup and surface debris, application of a chemical peel selected according to the client's specific skin condition (with a stabilising repair cream first applied to protect sensitive areas), an 8–10 minute neutralising period, a gentle wipe-down, and finally a round of microneedling to close out the session.




Who It Targets


The treatment is designed for a fairly broad range of concerns: acne scars and other scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation and dark spots, uneven skin tone, reduced skin elasticity, and stretch marks. That range is largely down to combining a chemical peel — which works on surface tone and pigmentation — with microneedling, which is more effective on texture, scarring, and elasticity.



Frequency and Aftercare


EstheClinic recommends repeat sessions every four weeks for normal or scar-prone skin, stretching to every four to six weeks for thinner or more sensitive skin, or for clients using it as an ongoing maintenance treatment. The clinic advises against combining it with other aesthetic treatments for two to four weeks either side, depending on skin condition.


Preparation matters for this one. Clients are asked to avoid retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics, and hydroxy acids for five to seven days beforehand, skip IPL or laser treatments for at least a week prior, and avoid waxing, depilatory creams, or electrolysis for five days before their appointment. Sun exposure and sunburn should also be avoided for at least a week ahead of treatment, and clients are asked to disclose any recent laser resurfacing, dermal fillers, thread lifts, or relevant medical history before booking.


Aftercare is similarly involved: mild redness and temporary "purging" are both considered normal, and clients are advised to avoid sun exposure for 10 days, apply SPF 50+ daily, skip makeup for 48 hours, and hold off on exercise, saunas, and swimming for the same period. Active skincare ingredients — AHAs, BHAs, and retinol among them — should be avoided for at least 14 days after treatment.
