Mid-Autumn Festival falls on September 25 this year, and Hong Kong's hotels have rolled out their annual mooncake collections. Here are some highlights and where to order them.
Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong
The real draw is Lung King Heen's expanded lineup: alongside the Mixed Nuts Mooncakes with Candied Citrus (HK$628), the two-Michelin-starred restaurant offers Cream Custard with Toasted Pine Nuts (HK$628) and Preserved Egg and Pickled Ginger (HK$628), plus an Assorted Signature Mooncakes box (HK$668) that can be paired with a vintage 2009 pu'erh tea cake for HK$888.
The Peninsula Hong Kong
Spring Moon's cult-favourite Mini Egg Custard Mooncakes (8 pcs, HK$888) are back for another year, still one of the most sought-after boxes in the city.
