Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Non Nuoc Beach Villas has the ingredients of a honeymoon retreat, a wellness escape and a family reunion all at once. We checked in to find out how it pulls that off.
Location
The Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Non Nuoc Beach Villas is an all-villa property located on Non Nuoc Beach, with the Marble Mountains rising gently in the distance. It's a 20-minute drive from Da Nang International Airport — close enough to be convenient, far enough to feel like you've escaped.
While we were there as two best friends in need of some serious R&R, it was impossible not to notice that this resort is an absolute dream for multi-generational families. Everywhere we turned, we saw grandparents lounging by private pools, toddlers collecting stamps at the kids' club, and teenagers running around enjoying a beach football game. The resort practically hums with the energy of extended families making memories together.

The Villa: Private Pools for Everyone
The resort has 122 villas ranging from two to four bedrooms, spread across 328 to 425 square metres of living space.
We stayed in a three-bedroom villa with a private pool. One-level villas are available for families with elderly members, while duplex options offer more separation between generations. We opted for the one-level, and it was perfect — no stairs to navigate after a long day of swimming, and the open-plan living area meant we could sprawl out without feeling on top of each other.
The private pool was a highlight. We were in it before we'd even unpacked, floating with glasses of rosé while planning our evening. Each villa also comes with a sun deck, outdoor dining area, and lush garden views — ideal for morning coffee catch-ups or late-night chats under the stars.
Little touches made a difference: welcome snacks, floor-to-ceiling windows that blurred the line between indoors and the tropical gardens outside, and bedding so comfortable we seriously considered extending our stay. The bathrooms were spacious, and the air conditioning worked like a dream — essential for Da Nang's humidity.
While there is a convenience store across the road, the resort is more on the remote side – about a 20-minute drive to the city centre – and there aren't many restaurants or facilities within walking distance.
The Food: From Pho to Private Afternoon Teas
It wasn't a surprise that breakfast at the hotel's Man Ho Restaurant was delightful, as Marriott hotels are known for their incredible breakfast spreads. The buffet here includes authentic Vietnamese dishes such as made-to-order pho and banh mi, fresh tropical fruit, pastries, and more. We both had a bowl of pho or banh mi every single morning — sometimes two — and the chef happily adjusted the herb garnishes to our exacting preferences. And of course, it wouldn't be a Vietnamese breakfast without a cup of freshly made coffee — whether you prefer it long and black or their specialty coconut coffee.
One afternoon, we got to enjoy the in-villa floating afternoon tea experience, complete with an array of savoury and sweet miniature snacks as well as two glasses of champagne. It really doesn't get much better than lounging in the pool sampling tasty treats on a beautiful sunny day.

The Facilities & Activities: Something For Everyone
Even though we were on a girls' getaway, it was impossible not to notice how brilliantly the resort caters to families. The M Passport programme offers 12 complimentary activities for children, including an introduction to tennis, fish feeding, kite flying, and Vietnamese folk games, alongside beach dancing and a handful of other seasonal add-ons. The Kids' Club is open daily from 8am to 9pm with a cheerful indoor playground, toys, games, and creative workshops — enough to occupy little ones for a full day if parents want one. For anyone travelling with a bigger crew, it's easy to see why the resort has become a favourite for three-generation family trips: there's a genuine activity for every age bracket, from toddlers to grandparents, without any of it feeling forced or overly programmed.
Beyond the Kids' Club, the resort's activity roster runs surprisingly deep for what still feels, at its core, like a quiet beach escape. Bike rentals make it easy to explore the grounds — 122 villas are spread across a genuinely spacious property, shaded by coconut palms and more than a hundred mango trees, so it's worth the pedal. There's also an outdoor tennis court for anyone wanting a proper hit rather than just the kids' taster session, and a 24-hour fitness centre for early risers or night owls who don't want their routine to slip on holiday.
The main pool is popular, so go early for the best seats! But fear not, the beach is only a few steps away and the hotel offers shaded daybeds on the sand. We'd spend hours here reading, drinking a coconut, and listening to the crash of the waves. Guests consistently flag the beach itself as one of the resort's best-kept secrets: clean, private, and quiet enough that it barely feels shared with other travellers at all, even in high season.
One afternoon, we spent a few minutes wandering through the M Green Oasis Garden — a tranquil sanctuary with tropical fruits, herbs, and vegetables — pointing out the occasional baby eggplant peeping through the leaves. It's a lovely, low-key detour between pool sessions, and a nice reminder that a lot of what lands on your plate at dinner has been grown just metres from where you're eating it.
The Spa: Quan Spa Non Nuoc
No stay here is complete without carving out proper time for Quan Spa Non Nuoc, the resort's lakeside spa, which blends traditional Vietnamese healing practices with more contemporary treatments — think herbal-based therapies, deep-tissue and Thai massage, aromatherapy, facials and body scrubs, all set around steam rooms and quiet relaxation spaces designed to slow you down the moment you walk in. The setting does a lot of the work here: treatment rooms look out over the resort's lake, and the pacing feels unhurried in a way that's genuinely rare for a resort spa of this size.
We'd recommend booking treatments a day or two ahead, particularly for couples' rooms, as the spa is a well-known highlight for guests and slots fill quickly — families and larger groups in particular seem to make a full afternoon of it, cycling through facials and massages together before regrouping for sundowners. If your schedule allows for only one big spend on this trip, this is where we'd put it.
The Verdict
Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Non Nuoc Beach Villas earns its reputation as one of the best all-round resorts on this stretch of coast. The private-pool villas alone would justify a stay for anyone chasing total seclusion, but layer on a genuinely excellent kids' programme, a spa worth building a day around, an on-site organic garden, and beach access good enough to make you forget the main pool exists — and you've got a resort that rewards almost any way you choose to spend your time here. It's rare to find a property this large that still feels considered rather than crowded, and rarer still to find one that works as well for a slow, indulgent girls' trip as it does for a full multi-generational family holiday. If you're weighing up where to stay in Da Nang, this is the property to book if you want the flexibility to do absolutely nothing, or absolutely everything, without ever needing to leave the grounds.
