When Desi Bling hit Netflix screens last month, it did what all good reality television is supposed to do: made you feel simultaneously envious of everyone on it and faintly relieved you are not them. Set against the gilded skyline of Dubai, the seven-episode series threw open the doors of the city's ultra-wealthy Indian expat community — a world of Birkin bags, private jets, marble penthouses, and, as one cast member cheerfully disclosed, three kilos of gold purchased monthly as a marital gesture. Backed by the team behind Dubai Bling and shot across both English and Hindi, the show was never going to be subtle. It wasn't trying to be.

But reality television has a funny afterlife. The cameras stop rolling and real life — messier, less well-lit, considerably more complicated — takes over. So what became of the people who let Netflix follow them around Dubai? We tracked them down.

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash: The Proposal That Broke the Internet

If you only remember one thing from Desi Bling, it's almost certainly this: in the final episode, Karan Kundrra got down on one knee in front of a waterfront backdrop spelling out "Will You Marry Me?" in giant illuminated letters, and Tejasswi Prakash — one of Indian television's most recognisable actresses — burst into tears.

"I am shivering," she told him.

After four years of dating, the couple popularly known to their devoted fanbase as TejRan are now officially engaged. Several cast members — including the Sajans — were on hand for the surprise. The proposal video circulated at extraordinary speed across social media, prompting the usual split between those who found it genuinely moving and those who questioned whether a Netflix finale was quite the right venue for a life-changing romantic moment. Both camps, it should be noted, kept watching.

Since the show, neither has slowed down. Karan has returned to hosting duties on MTV Splitsvilla Season 16 alongside Sunny Leone and recently appeared on Naagin 7 for Colors TV. He commands over 6.8 million Instagram followers. Tejasswi, for her part, walked the runway at the Bombay Times Fashion Week for French Avenue in April, appeared on Laughter Chefs, and has quietly been building a new entrepreneurial venture — Sam's Salon. She has over 7.9 million Instagram followers. A wedding date has not been announced. The internet is, predictably, waiting.

Rizwan Sajan: The Billionaire Who Doesn't Fire People

If Desi Bling had a gravitational centre, it was Rizwan Sajan — the founder and chairman of the Danube Group, which has grown into one of Dubai's most prominent real estate developers. He arrived in the UAE with not much more than determination, having previously been based in Kuwait after studying at the University of Mumbai. What he built from there is, depending on your estimation, either inspirational or a monument to the particular excess of Gulf capitalism.

His estimated net worth stands at US$2.5 billion.

Since the show, Sajan has kept busy in the way that billionaires do. In May 2026, he announced his company's first-ever grand villa project, and re-stated publicly that Danube's policy is never to let employees go — a point of personal pride he has made on multiple platforms. He also appeared on Bigg Boss to discuss his childhood. His Instagram following has grown to over 1.5 million, where he dispenses content about wealth creation, discipline, and the virtues of responsibility.

Adel and Sana Sajan: Building the Next Generation

The Sajan heir and his wife were already formidable presences before the cameras arrived; Desi Bling simply gave the rest of us a closer look. Adel is Managing Director of Danube Properties and founder of both Danube Home and Danube Sports World. He sat as a guest Shark on Shark Tank Dubai and is affiliated with YPO Middle East. In March 2026, he revealed the Greenz by Danube development; by May, the UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence was at the project launch.

Sana, who trained as a medical doctor, serves as Director of Business Development and Agency Relations at Danube Properties. She also hosts a podcast (Sana Speaks), sits on the Board of Directors at Join The Planet, runs an art page under her own name, and in April 2026 was named one of the Iconic Women of the Middle East by Niswah Middle East. They are raising three children and attend a great many project launches.

Pamala Serena: Pageantry, Property, and a Formidable Following

The British-Punjabi socialite holds a Psychology degree from University College London, trained at the London School of Production, won Miss Universe Dubai in 2021, won Mrs UAE World in 2022, is currently a United Nations Ambassador for Peace, and runs a property business in London.

Since Desi Bling, her Instagram following has climbed past 940,000. She attended M3M India's exclusive partnership with Elie Saab in January 2026. Her longer-term ambition is to establish an institute dedicated to holistic healing and psychology. In the meantime, she maintains a close relationship with her dog, Mochi.

Iryna Kinakh and Dyuti Parruck: The Question Everyone Is Still Asking

The most emotionally fraught storyline of Desi Bling involved not property empires or social politics but a marriage in difficulty. Iryna Kinakh, originally from Ukraine, and Dyuti Parruck — known widely as Dubai's "Golden Visa Guy" — shared openly on camera that they had begun divorce proceedings in 2024. Dyuti, at one point, handed Iryna signed papers and told her to choose between therapy or moving forward with the split.

The show left their relationship status deliberately ambiguous. Dyuti has shared a few photos and clips of them together from the show. Iryna's Instagram has seemingly been deactivated. Neither has made a public statement about the current state of their marriage.

Janvi Gaur: The Astrologer Who Keeps Expanding Her World

Described by producers as a Vedic astrologer, Spiritual Response Therapist, and tarot reader, Janvi Gaur was perhaps the most singular presence in the cast. Since Desi Bling, she has continued to build her spiritual practice — online consultations, workshops, interactive sessions — and has attracted a following of over 60,000 on Instagram.

Mona Mirza, Alizey and Lailli Mirza: The Biolite Trio

London-born twins Alizey and Lailli Mirza brought a distinctly Gen Z energy to a show not short of strong personalities. Active in fashion, content creation, and PR, the sisters have continued building their respective profiles since filming. Their mother, Mona Mirza — founder of Biolite Clinic and a certified Biohacker, Medical Aesthetician, and Hypnotherapist — remains the entrepreneurial anchor of the trio.
